Essential Oil Diffuser Recipes
It seems like there are a million uses for essential oils. You can use them to sanitize, to promote healing, to clean and the list goes on and on. But our favorite use is to diffuse them in the air to make your house smell wonderful.
Here are a few of our favorite essential oil diffuser blends that will enhance your mood no matter how you're feeling!
What you’ll need: A cold air diffuser, 10+ drops of essential oil (depending on the size of your diffuser) and a small amount of distilled water
Lemon + Lavender
If you practice at CPY, chances are that you’ve smelled this essential combination before at the end of class. Lemon oil is uplifting and cleansing, and the smell of lavender is notoriously soothing. This combination was made in yogi heaven!
Orange + Peppermint
Feeling a little sluggish? This blend is for you. The bright scent will help increase alertness.
Lavender + Chamomile
Add this combo to your diffuser an hour before bed to help relax your body and prepare for a good night’s sleep.
Grapefruit, Lemon + Orange
Nothing recalls warm summer days like the smell of citrus. This blend is pure bliss.
Balsom Fir + Black Spruce
There’s something about the smell of the forest that instantly puts you at ease. This essential oil combo is perfect while meditating.
