With the New Year just days away, enjoy this fun and yummy indulgence as you sit by the fire and spend time with loved ones. This festive peppermint hot chocolate will make you feel warm from the inside out—almost like your Ujjayi breath.
Ingredients
2 cups almond or soy milk
6 tablespoons natural cane sugar
3 tablespoons organic unsweetened cocoa
2 drops peppermint extract
2 candy canes
Marshmallows (Optional)
Instructions
Stir together milk, sugar and cocoa in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat while stirring constantly.
Add peppermint extract and continue to stir until it’s at your desired temperature.
Pour into two mugs, and decorate with a candy cane. If you’re really feeling indulgent, add whipped cream or marshmallows!
