No doubt there will be many tasty temptations and calorie-packed options to choose from, but we wanted to offer an easy and exquisite alternative to help you stay on point during the long weekend. Check out this amazing recipe for Garlic-Herb Butter Roasted Corn. Simple ingredients, simple directions and a delectable dish to keep your tastebuds and training on track.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 teaspoon minced parsley

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 clove garlic, minced ​

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil.

  2. Cut stalks of corn in half, and place in boiling water for five minutes.

  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and saute garlic until golden. Add parsley and honey, then reduce heat to low.

  4. Remove corn from boiling water and brush with butter mixture.

  5. Grill or roast corn at 275 degrees, turning frequently until the desired color is achieved.

  6. Enjoy!
