Full Moon Salutation
We know that the moon controls ocean tides, but there’s something special and mysterious about a full moon that seems to alter unseen energies and forces. Though the moon may be 230k+ miles away from us, it can have a strong pull over many parts of our lives - encouraging fresh starts and bouts of extreme creativity, among other things. The next full moon will appear on October 24th (the Hunter’s Moon), and even if you don’t buy into cosmic shifts in energy, it’s still a great time to take pause and reset for the month ahead.
As a yogi you’re likely familiar with sun salutations, but did you know that moon salutations are a thing too? Getting to your mat can be a great way to honor the full moon. Check out this simple Sun A flow to help you restore and relax.
