10 Ways to Spread the Love
If there’s one thing the world could always use a little bit more of, it’s love. Here are 10 ways you can spread the love on or off of your mat this February:
Make a little room for another yogi to squeeze in. We all have our days where traffic or late meetings send us into a sprint to make it just in time for class. Spread the love by scooting your mat over just a bit so a ‘just made it’ yogi can get in the flow. Karma does a body good.
Pay an almost-expired parking meter for a stranger. Have some loose change to spare? Be someone’s hero with the gift of a little extra time.
Have a genuine conversation with your barista. Instead of rushing through the line, take an extra minute to be present and engage in a real conversation with someone that’s helping you out.
Pay a compliment to a stranger. You never know how far your kind words can go to make someone’s day.
Snag your neighbor's block at the end of class. Now that’s a super yogi.
Dedicate 60 minutes to yourself to practice yoga, meditate, or simply relax. When you dedicate time to your own self-care, you’re mentally more available to spread the love to others.
Tell someone why you're grateful for them. A little love and gratitude can go a long way.
The next time you're at the drive-thru getting your morning pick-me-up, pay for the person's coffee or tea behind you. Paying it forward tastes so sweet when it’s caffeinated.
Bring a friend to yoga who has never tried it before. When you inspire others to make self-care a part of their lives, the love that you spread is compounded exponentially!
