What's In My Yoga Bag?
Since I am someone who travels from studio to studio here in Orange County, I always have my yoga bag packed. I pack it after my first cup of coffee in the morning and unpack my bag every night (and place all those sweaty clothes RIGHT in the washer! Here are a few things that I pack each day:
An extra pair of yoga clothes: Yes, I am a yoga pants hoarder. I will always have an extra set of clothes in my bag just in case I choose to take a double (I love a good Yoga Sculpt and then C2 class!), or somehow spill on myself (this is a little more normal). My go-to brand? My Beyond Yoga tank and capris!
Snacks: You never know when hunger will hit, and I need to be prepared at all times. I bring plenty of Designer Whey protein bars, trail mix and my favorite “oatmeal in a bag” by MunkPack.
Water Bottle: Of course! This one doesn’t ever leave my bag, as it’s the biggest supporter of my daily practice. I just make sure to empty my bottle each day, so it’s clear and ready to be filled in the morning (and several times during the day!).
Journal: I love taking yoga, and something I love the most about CorePower Yoga’s classes are the creativity that I see in all the instructor’s classes. I keep a journal on me at all times so I can jot down sequencing ideas, quotes or anything else that gets brought up in yoga.
Hair Ties: You have no idea how many times I have thanked myself for having hair ties. I love being able to help someone who forgot one of their own, and having a few backups in case I have a “hair tie blow out” and need a new one. My favorite? These cute Kitsch hair ties that also can be used as a cute wrist accessory.
My mat: Oh, and of course I have my yoga mat…..also known as “my travel companion.”
Off to yoga….
Xoxo,
Lacey
