Chin Stand
Begin in Hurdler’s Pose
Set your chin on the ground
Using core strength to lift
Avoid dumping the weight in to your low back
Most of the weight will be supported by your arms. Very little weight rests on your chin.
Peacock
From table top, turn your hands so that your fingers are facing backward
Bend your elbows and lower your body onto your upper arms
Bring your upper arms parallel to the ground
Lean your weight forward and extend your legs
Scissored Side Crow
Begin in Crow Pose
Rotate your body and straighten your legs out to the side
Slowly straighten your top leg behind you
Repeat on the other side of the body
Hurdler’s Pose
From table top, turn your hands so that your fingers are faced backward
Shift your weight forward
Rotate your hip and place one of your legs onto the back of your arm
