It’s finally here, the morning of your wedding. After months of planning every moment, be sure to take some time to center yourself so you can be present to remember all the big and little moments that will make up your special day.

Starting your day with these 3 rituals can help you center and reflect on all the fun and love that is about to happen!

Meditate

You are about to enter a day that will be go-go-go. Give yourself as a few as 2 minutes to meditate. Meditation will allow your heart rate to slow down and your brain to find focus. Not a seasoned meditator? No worries. On your wedding day pick a single phrase or word that you can repeat to yourself for those 2 minutes that will allow you to become centered. Simple phrases like “I will enjoy every moment of this day”, “I celebrate love today” or “I am so blessed” can be a powerful tool to jumpstart your bridal morning!

Gratitude Journal

What a day to be grateful! Journaling what you are grateful for can help you focus on what really matters on your wedding day. See if you can write down 10 things that are you grateful for that have or will be part of your big day. These can be as small as your morning coffee, your parent’s love and support of your relationship or how much you appreciate your bridal party. It will be fun one day to look back and see what you wrote down the morning of your nuptials!

Practice Yoga

After you have centered your mind, it’s a great idea to move your body! Whether you have an entire hour to get your bridal party together and practice, or just 15 minutes to do a self-practice, makes the time to move energy within your body. Nothing like heading down the aisle feeling mentally and physically ready!
