CorePower Yoga is looking for a Full-time Retail Specialist to join our dynamic multi-entity organization. The Retail Specialist will provide customer care within the Retail Space and to promote cross selling opportunities with CorePower Yoga’s range of programming and services. This position will be based in the Honolulu area and primarily responsible driving the retail sales of our Honolulu studio.
Responsibilities
- Attain personal and territory sales goals
- Assume a leadership role on the retail floor and in the yoga studio and exemplify excellent customer care within a broad range of CorePower Yoga’s products and services
- Analyze retail sales reports to determine which products will best drive sales at each studio
- Collaborate with Studio Managers to promote products and complete requests made by customers
- Collaborate with Retail Manager to properly process and allocate shipment
- Execute weekly cycle counts as well as bi-annual physical inventory counts
- Open schedule availability which allows ability to staff studio during busiest sales times
- Exercise merchandising best practices in order to best display merchandise, making product visually compelling to the customer and resulting in a sales floor that is easy to shop and navigate
- Ability to manage time wisely and complete job responsibilities and special projects efficiently
- Remains mindful of activities and operations of the business and seeks ways to maximize revenue while minimizing risk to company assets
- Understand how to operate POS system
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Must have reliable transportation
- Complete special projects as required

Part-time Call Center Specialist
CorePower Yoga is looking for a Part Time Call Center Specialist. The Call Center Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining the highest level of customer service by responding effectively to phone inquiries. Knowledge of CPY yoga classes, programs and business structure are highly desired. The Call Center Specialist is paramount in supporting the Studio Managers and leadership teams in improving the experience for our customers. This position demands an outgoing personality, great phone etiquette, a high level of organization, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, the natural ability to read people and desire to solve problems.
This position will be based in the Denver corporate office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all telephone calls promptly and efficiently
- Respond to all voicemails within one hour during call center hours, and within the first hour of the day for voicemails left after call center closure.
- Assist customers with CPY schedule and program questions
- Assist members in basic account questions
- Utilize Mind-Body- Online software to navigate through student accounts and service offerings
- Understand the organizational structure of CPY and disseminate or escalate information through appropriate channels. Resolve and/or forward customer complaints to the appropriate person.
- Follow up with customer calls where necessary
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Support studio managers
- Research required information using available resources.
- Must be reliable and willing to get coverage if not available to cover scheduled shift
- Must be respectful of, and at all times compliant with, corporate rules, policies and procedures and management direction
The Call Center Specialist position requires demonstrated customer service skills, a high level of organization, problem solving ability and a passion for the yogi lifestyle. This position also requires initiative, follow through and integrity due to the sensitive nature of the responsibilities involved. We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and flexible schedule.
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service position. Familiarity with CorePower yoga studios, website and MBO software is a must. Comfortable on the telephone and use of a PC essential. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

The Studio Manager is responsible for delivering a superior yoga experience to CorePower Yoga clients. The Studio Manager is the primary driver in bringing in new clients and retaining practicing clients. Ownership of the customer experience includes control and management of the physical environment, the quality of delivery of classroom instruction, communication with clients, and instructor development.
Client Relationship Development
- Exemplify excellent customer care and assume leadership role in providing superior customer service.
- Manage activities that ensure the physical studio space meets the high CorePower Yoga standards of excellence. Maintain the highest level of cleanliness, environment and functionality of all studio space. Ensure studio environment complies with the high standards of CorePower Yoga: this includes providing optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio.
- Maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies so that all provisions and amenities are available for all clients at all times.
- Maintain a high level of customer communication through personal interaction with clients; a communication process; and by providing appropriate feedback opportunities for clients. Develop and deliver effective feedback mechanisms. Follows up with new students to support them in practice development.
- Perform as a CorePower Yoga Ambassador both inside and outside of the studio. Promote understanding and enthusiasm about yoga in the community.
Revenue Growth and Profitability
- Responsible for continued revenue growth and profitability of the Studio. Plan and execute class content and schedules that appeal to the local market and result in optimum attendance and yoga revenue.
- Plan and execute strategies that continuously bring new students into the studio. Create and implement programs that turn new students into permanent clients.
- Collaborate with National Retail Team Manager to exceed the planned retail sales. Complete merchandising activities and train teachers and sales staff to inspire optimum client purchases.
- Assist corporate marketing team in developing ideas to create and deliver effective marketing collateral. Monitor studio homepage and provide ideas and guidance to corporate web designer to keep fresh, attractive, complete, and relevant.
- Yoga Practice Development and Instruction
- Continue to develop Manager’s own yoga practice and level of knowledge. Seeks a deeper understanding of the value of the yogi lifestyle to connect with their community: peers, students, teachers, and other employees.
- Teach an appropriate amount of classes per week to enable the continued connection with their CorePower Yoga community.
Personnel Development
- Hire, train, and develop studio staff including instructors, front desk staff, retail personnel, and Assistant Manager.
- Supervise, review and coach employees to develop a high level of job effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. Deliver constructive feedback, growth plans, and disciplinary action in a timely manner.
- Sustain a high level of communication with employees through productive individual dialogue. Complete regularly scheduled meetings, trainings, and feedback sessions to facilitate productive communication and promote an environment of teamwork.
- Provide regular and productive feedback to instructors on teaching skills and techniques to afford continuous personal development and class experience.
Lifestyle Program Support
- Collaborates with Program Development team to deliver CorePower Yoga programs such as Teacher Training, Yogi Training, Nutrition, and BootCamp. Plans and execute approved special workshops.
- Assist Program Leads to assemble and coordinate local teams to deliver Lifestyle Programs.
- Lead the sales and promotion of Lifestyle Programs. Is directly responsible for the revenue targets for each program offered on-site
- Create new concepts for Lifestyle Programs and presents ideas to Regional and Corporate leadership.
- Administrative
- Assist corporate staff in preparing revenue plans and forecasts.
- Complete required reporting to assist corporate office in maintaining complete and proper financial records. Such reporting includes, but is not limited to, cash drawer receipt report, bank deposits, and frequent statistical reporting
- Compile regular payroll reports on a timely basis. Complete all required employee documentation. Maintain critical employee files on-site.
- Maintain all schedules, accounts, and information in MindBody Online. Ensure accurate and complete client records, financial data, and retail inventory.
- Manage the risk associated with operating a local business. Remain mindful of activities and operations of the business, and seek ways to minimize harm to clients, employees, and company assets.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects as required.
The Studio Manager position requires a passion for the yogi lifestyle, completion of CorePower Yoga Teacher Training program, and a minimum of 200 hours of yoga instruction experience (multiple class types preferred). We also require demonstrated customer service skill, leadership ability, an aptitude for organization and an ability to prioritize job duties. A High School diploma is required and a college degree and business management experience is preferred.
