Celebrate Your Practice:
Rekindle the fires of passion and pleasure with Forrest Yoga. Learn to reconnect
to your energy, while you delight in your strength. Bring healing and
inspiration into your personal practice. This Forrest Yoga workshop helps you
cultivate and embrace a sense of compassion. You also learn to make your
practice exhilarating and delicious.
Opening Your Heart:
With Forrest Yoga’s heart-open asanas, you learn to breathe in a way that opens
your core and gives the heart the support and counsel of the rest of the primary
charkas. Learn to remove the emotional shielding from your heart so it can truly
and honestly feel each new experience afresh. This helps your heart and spirit
be more resilient, flexible and adept at surfing emotional waves. Begin building
skill in accessing, cleansing and resolving emotional issues and move them out
of the cell tissue, thus freeing your heart. This makes room for seeing and
absorbing the beauty and sweetness in our world, which nourishes the heart.
Journey to the Core:
Forrest Yoga takes you on a physical and mental journey deep into the core of
your own being. You will create a heightened sense of awareness through breath
and asanas, and open to the amazing quality of feeling that lives inside of you.
Use Forrest Yoga to connect to your core, shed what is no longer useful, keep
what is of value and ‘with a breath of kindness blow the rest away.” Challenging
and moving your core energy into those areas it hasn’t been. Come sweat, breathe
deeply and enter the incredible mystery of your core. You will feel cleansed,
refreshed and alive.
Embodying
Spirit:
Does your practice brighten or dim your Spirit? Make the choice to brighten up
and fascinate in process! Forrest Yoga teaches you to focus your intent on
connecting to and Embodying your Spirit. How? By choosing, in the moment, to
breathe in a way that brightens you; to do your poses in a way that invites your
spirit to permeate into all of your body. This welcomes your spirit home.

BIO
Ana Forrest is recognized
worldwide as a pioneer in yoga and emotional healing. Born crippled, her own
life trauma and experiences compelled her to create Forrest Yoga®. Having
studied many yoga styles and healing modalities, most importantly Native
American medicine & ceremony, her focus in Forrest Yoga is to guide the student
in the sacred exploration of truth, healing, and "the Great Mystery". She is a
well-known contributing expert to Yoga Journal and other national wellness
publications. She travels internationally teaching at yoga conferences,
workshops, and teacher trainings. Ana is on the board of Advisors for the
Foundation for Athletic Research & Education (F.A.R.E. play) and is an
instructor for continuing education at the University of Bridgeport College of
Chiropractic. She received the Los Angeles Mayoral Commendation for her
outstanding teaching and healing work in the community. This is the first time a
major US city mayor has bestowed this honor to a yogi or yogini. Learn more about Ana and
