Payroll Clerk - Denver, CO

CorePower Yoga is looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic multi-entity organization. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the accurate, complete and timely execution of payroll and various clerical duties within the Payroll department. This position will start as 30 hours per week. The candidate should be ready for increasing responsibilities within a fairly short time frame. This position will be based in Denver in the corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new hires and rehires in automated payroll system
  • Maintain employee database to capture all data relevant to pay rates, tax status, benefit eligibility, classification, and necessary regulatory and personal information
  • Enter and file all changes received in employee files ( direct deposit account, W4 allowances, wage changes etc)
  • Administer semi-monthly payroll with the assistance of third-party payroll processing company
  • Prepare manual check and paycheck calculations that are handled outside of the regular payroll cycle.
  • Review and import timecard information from Payroll, analyze payroll for irregularities or potential errors and make necessary changes.
  • Exemplify quality customer service and telephone skills. Research payroll issues and promptly resolves employee’s requests and inquiries.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, salary data and benefits information.
  • Create and maintain payroll reports for Human Resource Manager and Controller
  • Complete special projects as required

Education, Skills, Qualifications

The Payroll Clerk position requires a college degree or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of automated Payroll processing experience is required as well as experience in data entry. Candidate should embrace an active lifestyle congruent with the philosophies of the company. Must have good communication skills with the ability to effectively establish and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers in a variety of departments and levels in multiple locations. Candidate must possess strong attention to deal with a focus on accuracy, ability to work independently when necessary, as well effectively organize workload, adapt quickly to change and deliver under pressure of deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft office skills is mandatory - strong Excel skills are fundamental.

Full-time Junior IT Administrator - Denver, CO

CorePower Yoga is looking for a Full Time Junior Administrator to join our dynamic multi-entity organization. The Junior Systems Administrator will work closely with the IT Manager to provide company-wide day-to-day support thru the CorePower Yoga help desk application as well corporate office IT support. This includes setup and configuration support for server and desktop hardware/software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, internet communications and networking solutions. Assist and/or perform new studio openings. Duties involve the resolution of user problems ranging anywhere from login issues, point of sale equipment troubleshooting to audio systems. This position’s geographic concentration will focus mainly in our Colorado region as well as provide backup for other regional studios. Assistance may be over the phone or on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager, under general direction, for daily IT assignments and tasks.
  • Coordinate and provide secondary support for the IT Manager of IT related issues where needed.
  • Synchronize and manage new hardware and software implementation, including set up of new studios in Colorado as well as other regions.
  • Manage and maintain internet communications, firewall, routers and internet connections for Colorado region.
  • Utilize the CorePower Yoga Help Application to provide daily studio support for various IT related issues, as well as participate in weekly meetings with IT Manager, via phone, to discuss status of Help Desk issues and their resolutions.
  • Must be respectful of, and at all times compliant with, corporate rules, policies and procedures and management direction.
  • Complete special projects as required.


The Junior Systems Administrator requires a college degree in a related discipline - IT, Computer Science or MIS as well as 3+ years of relevant experience in IT development and maintenance. The candidate must possess skills with Microsoft Office product suite, Sharepoint, ERP systems, POS systems, client server and web-based technologies, email server, Voiceover IP technology and Help Desk management. Experience with DNN is highly desirable. We also require strong telephone support expertise as well as demonstrated customer service and troubleshooting skills. Potential candidate must possess excellent communication skills, with all levels of management, as well as the ability to work independently with exceptional time management and prioritizing abilities.

Candidate must have own transportation. Some out of state travel is required.

Part-time Retail Specialist - Boulder, CO

CorePower Yoga is looking for a Part Time Retail Specialist to join our dynamic multi-entity organization. The candidate should be ready for increasing responsibilities within a fairly short time frame. This position will be based in the Boulder area and primarily responsible for driving the retail sales of Boulder area yoga studios.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales using product selection, product design, product pricing and product display that stimulate consumers to purchase. This includes disciplines in physical presentation of products such as stocking shelves, building displays and keeping the boutique floor organized.
  • Generate sales reports and move product and inventory in MindBody Online to facilitate analysis and collaborative goal setting with Regional Manager
  • Execute a periodic physical counting of the individual items in stock and assist in the reconciliation of physical inventory. Effectively align approved physical inventory levels on the boutique floor with potential inventory opportunities
  • Redistribute merchandise based upon informed observations of what is selling versus what is not selling in Yoga Studios
  • Understand how to operate POS system (receive cash, checks, debit, charge payments, utilize account credit and gift certificates), bag purchases, and give change and receipts
  • Complete special projects as required

The Retail Specialist position requires a passion for the yogi lifestyle, an outgoing personality that takes initiative, integrity and follow-through. At least two years of retail experience is required. We also require a team player who has the ability for time management, demonstrated written and verbal communication and customer service skill. A college degree is preferred.
